About Sonia Byrne
Sonia bridges her corporate background with her ongoing study of mindful leadership best practices for the workplace. She regularly conducts professional strategy sessions with client teams and speaks at conferences, retreats and public events.
Sonia is often called into organizations to untangle the puzzle of conflict, motivation and engagement through mindful leadership principles and practices. Helping clients to explore their own inner wisdom to call forth the possibilities for change and a new perspective has been her life’s work for over 20 years.
She has worked with teams and individuals in corporate and not-for-profit settings in North America, Europe and the Middle East North Africa Region. Sonia has been a professor of International Business Communication and HR Law at Centennial College and the author of two columns: “Mental Mindsets for Success” for The Advisor magazine and the “Coach’s Corner” for the Toronto Business Times.
Sonia holds a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation with the Human Resources Association of Canada. She has a Honours Bachelor Degree from the University of Toronto and a Masters Degree in Consciousness Studies from Holmes Institute (San Diego Campus). She is certified in five workplace personality assessment tools and has trained with The Coaches Training Institute (USA) and The Coaching Academy (UK).
